THE AVERAGES
ensemble cast!
What’s is the Ensemble Cast?
We’re putting the call out for all young actors and singers to be part of the ensemble cast of this superhero adventure musical!
We’re looking for aspiring stars to be part of our towns folk and villainous henchmen to feature in various scenes including the final battle showdown!
This is an exciting opportunity for any young performer, no matter their age or ability to experience the thrill of being part of a musical production as they develop new skills, build confidence and make new friends.
Join the adventure and be part of the show!
What you need to know
What’s involved?
The ensemble will star in various group scenes throughout the production including the most exciting final battle showdown where the superheroes take on the villains!
Over the course of rehearsals your child will get to learn singing, dancing, stage craft and fight scene choreography as well as get to experience a professional theatre production experience and make some amazing friends along the way.
They’ll need to learn 2-3 songs which they will sing with the principle characters as well as having some minor acting tasks in the scenes.
We’ll teach them everything they need to know as well as supply lyrics sheets, guide vocals and backing tracks to practice along to.
Are there auditions or age / ability restrictions?
There’s no auditions or experience necessary. We’ll make sure all the student feel confident on stage and are doing only what they feel comfortable performing. While age restrictions don’t apply, these types of productions they can be quite exciting and bustling environments so we recommend ages 5-15 works best however any age that feels confident to sing on stage is welcome to participate.
What is the commitment and cost like?
In an effort to keep the production accessible and low management, we’ve tried to keep rehearsals and involvement to a minimum. Registration is $89 for the whole experience which really just goes towards making sure we have adequate staff supervision for your children.
For costumes, we’ll have some props and accessories for the ensemble cast to choose from but seeing as your child will be playing a regular civilian, they are welcome to just wear their own clothes as a costume. (We’ll send you some pics to go off, for inspiration - if you need it)
See below for all the rehearsal dates and details.
