FAQs

Does my child need any experience to join?
Not at all! We welcome all levels of experience. Our program is designed to support and challenge each student where they’re at.

What age do you have to be to enrol?
Any child that feels comfortable in a group environment is welcome to join the Musical Theatre Troupe although we recommend school-aged children
ages 6 and up in order to be considered for a lead or supporting role in the production.

What happens if we can’t make one of the rehearsals?
No problem, we understand that life gets busy. Students should aim to attend all rehearsals, but we can work around occasional absences with notice. Please let us know as soon as you can.

What if my child doesn’t have lessons at Hummingbird Music?
This won’t effect their participation or consideration for a lead in any way. Any child is welcome to be part of the Musical Theatre Troupe!

All major materials and most costumes are provided. Parents may be asked to assist with simple items like shoes, base layers or their child’s ensemble cast outfits.
