What you need to know

What’s involved?
The ensemble will make up scenes with the townsfolk and the subjects in the Queen of Hearts realm. So your child will need to learn 2-3 songs which they will sing with the principle characters as well as having some minor acting tasks in the scenes. If your child is confident there is an opportunity to take a couple of solo lines in the opening number as well!

We will supply you with lyrics sheets, guide vocals and backing tracks to practice along to all you have to do is turn up to the following two rehearsals both at The Independent Theatre in North Sydney:
Saturday 31st May: 11am - 2pm (blocking and scene rehearsal)
Saturday 14th June: 10am - 1pm (Dress Rehearsal)

Are there age restrictions?
There’s no age restrictions but if you’ve ever been involved in these types of productions they can be quite exciting and bustling environments so we recommend ages 5-18 however any age that feels confident to sing on stage is welcome to participate.

Does it cost anything?
Nope! I doesn’t cost anything to be part of the ensemble cast. We’d love to have any many people involved as would like to be…. as long as we can fit you all on stage :-)
You ‘ll just have to arrange your own costumes but don’t worry, you probably have most of it lying around in your cupboards. You just need to dress up as any Disney, Storybook or Fairytale character that isn’t a lead character. If you’re not sure, we have some spare costumes to help.
